The story of Piscatrix began decades ago in the 1970s, when a young lobsterman from the perilous coast of Massachusetts set out each day before dawn, battling the elements to bring home the best catch the Atlantic had to offer. His daughter Tricia, working along side him, grew up with saltwater in her veins and a deep respect for the hard work and perseverance that defined her father’s life. The sea was not only a source of livelihood for their family; it was a way of life, a constant rhythm that shaped their days and their dreams. Piscatrix is a celebration of this heritage.

Years later, with her father’s memory as a guiding light, Tricia opened Piscatrix Seafood Co. in Kennebunk, Maine bringing the finest fresh and prepared seafood to her community. 

Piscatrix offers a taste of New England’s catch, carefully curated by someone who knows the ocean like the back of her hand, with the same values her father instilled; honesty, quality, sustainability, freshness, and respect for the sea. In addition to the knowledge of the sea, she also learned by heart all of the secret family recipes passed down through generations. Previously she worked in the corporate food industry for 20+ years and as a professional private chef combining her experiences and passion for good food.

Based in the heart of Kennebunk, Maine, Piscatrix Seafood Co, is more than just a local seafood market—it’s a living tribute to the deep-seated maritime traditions of New England. 

For Tricia, Piscatrix is much more than a business—it’s a way to honor her roots and share the love and respect for the sea that has been passed down through generations.
